Ordering by Phone, Fax or Post

Call our friendly operators on 0845 260 4505, between 9.00am and 5.30pm Mon-Fri - an answerphone service is available out side of these hours. (If you are calling from overseas please dial +44 1483 211320.)

If you are ordering from a catalogue, please have the following ready
- Your catalogue code (shown in the top right corner of your order form in your catalogue)
- The relevant ISBN / Item ref code
- Your credit / debit card details
We will confirm that the items you wish to order are in stock and advise of delivery dates.

How do I find products?

There are two main ways to locate products on our website.

Browsing

From every page you can simply select a category from left navigation menu.

Searching

Use the 'Search' option located on the left hand side of the website to search for a particular type of product. Simply enter a relevant keyword that best describes the product you are after (such as 'allotment' or 'orchids') and click 'search' to see a list of matching results. If there are more than 10 results, you can click the left or right arrows or the relevant page numbers to browse through these results in groups of 10.

Using either of these methods will produce a selection of products that match your needs. To see any product in more detail, simply click 'More Info'. To add products to your Shopping Basket, just click 'Buy' (you can remove it later if you wish). Alternatively, you can enter the catalogue code in the search box and the item will appear.

Alternatively, enter the ISBN or item reference if you know it in the search box to go straigt to the product.

If you can't see what you are looking for, please rememer that our online facility is currently only a fraction of the titles we have available through Mail Order, please contact us with your requirements and we will search the bookshop for you,

How do I purchase products?

You can add any products that you wish to purchase to your 'Shopping Basket' at any time by clicking the 'Buy' button that appears next to that product. If you make a mistake or change your mind, you can remove products and/or change quantities at any time before going through the 'Checkout'.Once you have a selection of products that you are happy with, click 'Checkout' to enter our secure area and arrange payment and delivery details. (The 'Checkout' button is located within the 'Your Basket' box on the left hand side of the website.)

How can I order products if I know the ISBN / Item codes?

If you have a copy of the catalogue and /or know the ISBN or item code for the items you wish to order, you can enter these without having to locate the item. Select the "Order Form" link in the bar at the top of the page, enter the ISBN / code(s). Click the submit button and a list of the items you have entered will appear. You have the option from here to change the quantity, add or delete items and proceed to the checkout.

How can I see what's in my Shopping Basket?

The number of products in your Shopping Basket and their total cost (minus delivery charges, which will be calculated at the Checkout) is shown in the 'Your Basket' box located on the left hand side of the website at all times. To see the contents of 'Your Basket' in more detail, just click 'View'.

How do I remove products from my Shopping Basket?

To see the contents of your Shopping Basket in more detail, just click 'View' that appears within the 'Your Basket' box located on the left hand side of the website at all times. From 'Your Basket', simply click 'Delete Item' and you will be shown your current list of products with a box next to each. Simply put a tick next to any product that you wish to remove from your basket and click 'Submit'. Your amended list of selected products will then appear.

How do I select multiple items?

If you wish to purchase more multiples of any product, simply add that product to your Shopping Basket, then click the 'View' button that appears within the 'Your Basket' box located on the left hand side of the website. From your basket click 'Change Quantity', this will refresh your current list of chosen products with the original quantity appearing in a box next to each. Change this number to the quantity you require of each item and click 'Submit' to confirm. Your amended list of selected products will then appear.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We currently accept orders paid by Visa, Mastercard, Delta or Switch. We will not charge your card until your order is available for despatch. If any item in your order is out of stock, we will not charge for this until it is available to be sent. If you wish to pay by cheque, postal order or RHS and National Garden Gift Vouchers, we can only accept your order by mail. All prices shown are in £ (GBP) sterling, and include VAT (where applicable). We regret that at this time we can only accept orders paid in sterling.

What notification will I receive?

You will receive the following e-mails from us:

Confirmation that the order has been received and the stock status of the items on your order.

Confirmation that payment has been authorised and that your order is being packed for despatch within 24 hours.

Is it safe to shop online with RHS Enterprises?

When you place your order you are automatically connected to our secure servers using SSL 40 bit encryption. A closed padlock will show in your browser status bar. This means that your personal and card details are fully encrypted, and remain secure across the Internet and after they reach our order processing centre.
When you submit your order at the Checkout, your personal information will be encrypted before leaving your computer. This information will remain encrypted until it is received by our secure server at which stage the information you have provided will be verified. A confirmation that your order has been received safely will be displayed on your screen a few moments later.

Are my personal details safe with RHS Enterprises?

We respect your privacy and all personal information obtained through this Web site is kept secure in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. We do not attempt to gain any personal information about you without your knowledge. The information requested from you at the checkout is considered the minimum required to process your order efficiently. From time to time we would like to inform you of new products or special offers from RHS Enterprises Mail Order, we may also make your name and address information available to carefully screened companies whose products or services we feel may interest you. If you do not wish to receive such contacts, please check the relevant box at the check out before submitting your order, or you can contact us.

How and when are products delivered and what are your postage rates?

Postage and packing charges are per delivery address. Add p&p charges for each additional delivery address.

UK Deliveries - Standard Charges (please see below for any supplements)
£2.50 for UK delivery orders up to £12.99 in value
£4.95 for UK delivery orders between £13.00 and £49.99 in value
POSTAGE AND PACKING IS FREE FOR ORDERS OVER £50 PLACED VIA THE INTERNET (UK addresses only)

Orders are usually despatched within 2 working days of receipt of your order (subject to availability), please allow up to 14 days for delivery.

Overseas Deliveries - Standard Charges (please see below for any supplements)
£4.95 for European delivery orders up to £12.99 in value
£9.95 for European delivery orders between £13.00 and £299.99 in value
Customers with orders of £300 or more will be contacted with the postage charge before final processing of the order.

£7.50 for deliveries outside Europe on orders up to £12.99 in value
£14.99 for deliveries outside Europe on orders between £13.00 and £299.99 in value
Customers with orders of £300 or more will be contacted with the postage charge before final processing of the order.

Orders will be despatched within 2 working days of receipt of your order (subject to availability).

POSTAGE SUPPLEMENTS

Colour Charts
The following supplements are per chart, if you are ordering only colour charts then the standard charges above will not apply:
Main Colour Chart: £4.95 for UK delivery, £9.95 for delivery outside the UK - per chart
Mini Colour Chart: £2.50 for UK delivery, £4.95 for delivery outside the UK - per chart.

Heavy & Fragile Items
Items identified as heavy or fragile on the site will have the following supplements in addition to the standard charges above:
£10 for delivery within the UK
£25 for delivery outside the UK but within Europe
£50 for delivery to the Rest of the World

RHS Vouchers
All vouchers are sent using Royal Mail Special Delivery and must be signed for on receipt. The delivery charge for this is £4.25 and is in addition to the standard charges above if you are ordering other items at the same time. Please note vouchers are for UK delivery only.

Import Duties

If you order products from our site for delivery outside the UK, they may be subject to import duties & taxes that are levied when the delivery reaches the specified destination. You will be held responsible for payment of any such import duties & taxes. Please note that we have no control over these charges & cannot predict their amount. Please contact your local customs office for further information before placing your order.

Please also note that you must comply with all applicable laws & regulations of the country for which the products are destined. We will not be liable for any breach by you of any such laws.

ALL ORDERS - if an item is out of stock when the order is received and due in within the next 5 working days we will hold all of your order and send the items together. If any item is delayed beyond this time, we will send the items in stock and notify you of the delay.

Depending on weight, size and destination orders are sent with Royal Mail, parcel couriers, airmail and by international M-bag.

Can I return goods?


If you are not completely happy with any purchase you can return it unused in the original packaging within 21 days for a full refund or replacement. Your statutory rights will not be affected. If you need to return an item, please follow the instructions that come with your order. Please retain a 'proof of postage' receipt from the post office. Goods lost (without proof of postage) or arriving damaged will not be credited. Goods must be returned at your cost, unless incorrect or faulty. Goods can NOT be returned to RHS Enterprises shops or plant centres if purchased through Mail Order.

Can I buy these items at RHS Gardens?


Some of the items featured in this collection are available from RHS Enterprises exclusively via Mail Order, not all are available from RHS Enterprises Shops and Plant Centres.

Gift Service

If you would like to send gift/s direct to friends or relatives, simply complete the delivery address section when you checkout and write your gift message in the space provided. There is no charge for this service. An order confirmation will be sent to the card holders address.

Please remember that ALL items in your order are sent to the delivery address you specify and can only be sent to one address. If you require more than one delivery address you will need to enter separate orders for each delivery address.
